Here's one thing I won't Bash Bowden about
Every year, Bowden takes the football team to church. It's a completely voluntary event (you don't have to go if you're agnostic or a towelhead or whatnot.) However, the ACLU just can't stand the image of a bunch of red blooded, hard working, American Dream living boys heading off to church as a team, so they are suing.
From the article:
Amen to that. This is just the ACLU trying to destroy Christianity in every way they possibly can as a part of their goal to turn America in to a government worshiping communist society. This isn't a political blog though, so I digress.
While I'd love to see Bowden get fired for just about any reason under the sun, I simply must stand up on his side on this issue. I think Bowden is in the right, he's doing something that's good for the team, and the ACLU should be hunted down and shot. This is the ONLY time you'll ever see me defend Bowden, so cherish it.
From the article:
"If the coach had taken his team to another religion, I doubt we would ever have heard from the ACLU," he said, adding, "He is doing what he thinks is best for the group, and absolutely no harm would come from that."

And here is where you and I differ.
Your implication is that the ACLU is destroying America. My feeling is that while the ALCU seems misguided, it's doing it's best to aid the "little guy."
In this case, they are trying to make sure that the prevalent beliefs of Bowden don't become overwhelming and create a hostile environment for non-believing prospects/players.
While the case may never go to court, it may make it clear that boundaries need to be set (and it appears that the Clemson administration have already done so).
However, Bowden might be praying to the wrong god. Cause this one hasn't given him any good wins against quality opponents.

Wrong, the ACLU does not give a damn about the US citizens. Why are they not sueing the NFL for making it against the rules to own a gun. I know a nfl player was murdered basically because he could not protect himself. It is a constitutional right to have a gun and the nfl is striping that from players. Where is the ACLU, knowhere, because it has nothing to do with the ACLU destroying the US.

You make no sense.
I wish you did.
But that makes absolutely no sense. I'm drowning in your inability to piece together a coherent thought.

I suppose if he had taken them to a party where beer and "loose women" were then the ALCU would not be squaking about that now would they?
